During this weekend it was time for my second canoepolo tournament this year as part of the Deventer B canoepolo team. It was quite some fun and quite hard work paddling in the Dutch second class. The Keistad tournament started out pretty good for us, winning the 4 matches on saturday, setting us in first place in the poule. However we couldn’t keep this winning streak up on sunday, and lost two important matches, putting in the last place of the poules on sunday. In the end we won our last finales for 5 and 6th place, so made it as 5th.
However, the tournament was also time to chat with a few friends; so to sum it all up it was a pretty good weekend!
Below a few photos from the match between DKV Euros and Euros Veterans & Co (respectively current members of the student canoeing club in Enschede, and former members). This whole tournament was also a good place for me to polish my photography skills again on this very nice sport.
