While it has been almost two years since I was in New Zealand for a two month holiday, and I’ve been on quite some other holidays, there are still moments I think back to this fantastic country. The Central North Island has made some impact on me, probably due to the steep climb on my bike into the Tongariro National Park coming from Turangi.
Nah, surely it was the magnificent views on the trails while on the Tongariro Alpine Crossing; one of NZ’s most walked trails. Part of the trail I did walk in the fog, but that didn’t matter too much, it was kind of the right mood.
Have a great weekend!
