Since a while I have also been using 500px as a service for spreading my photos, initially I wasn’t too particularly fond of it, but it grew on me. In my mind it has taken the place of Flickr, which has many advantages, but I do like the ease of use of 500px better.
OK, Flickr has quite some advantages over 500px, such as discussion groups; but I do like the presentation of photos on 500px better, and that is the basic idea right?! Show our photos in a simple, yet effective way. Besides, the rating system in 500px is simply amazing, really like it the way it is implemented. Have to say that as of yet I do not have a paid account here, but I’m sure that I will pull that pin in the future.
