In preparation to my upcoming trip in Iceland, I had decided to order a few filters for my camera lens. One being a B+W circular polarizing filter and the other a B+W 10-stop ND filter, both allowing for a different effect on the captured photo. Quite a few photographers have already written articles on what these filters are for and how to use them, one article by Peter Hill in particular provided me with a real in depth insight on how to use a 10-stop neutral density (ND) filter.
